Samuel found his Halloween costume and requested it be put on him. He loves acting like a monkey!

In his cup is his daily dose of cod liver oil in orange juice. He loves it and requests it if I forget. I love my healthy boy!

We have started a Fruit of the Spirit study during Intentional Toddler Time. This is the book we are reading everyday, and Samuel loves it. The illustrations are gorgeous. We read this book three times in a row after dinner (plus some other books we keep available at the kitchen table). He loves books!

After dinner, Sam requested his alphabet notebook. He loves coloring and learning. While Daddy did the dishes, we did a little impromptu letter work.

Sam crawled into Daddy’s lap with book in one hand and hot chocolate in the other. They curled up under our snuggle blanket and read. Soon after this picture I was wrangled into the pile and the three of us read The Cat in the Hat together. Dr. Seuss is such a gift!

The fireman joined us for breakfast. He loves playing dress up, and we love this smile.

Mark brought home carry out to give me a break from cooking. I love these little (unprompted) blessings!

Samuel loves books, and we read for hours each day. He is totally into Curious George right now, which warms my heart, especially since many of them are from my childhood. This picture was snapped in my office while I was finishing up some work because the munchkin woke up from his nap early.

We rang in the new year with a snowshoe adventure. It was 7 degrees with bright sun-shiny skies. A gorgeous Steamboat day with a gorgeous Steamboat family, if I don’t say so myself.
